I started ezApps as a side project while learning how to write software. Running an online business on the Shopify platform, I often found myself hesitant to trust third-party apps from the Shopify App Store, preferring those built by Shopify. However, as I delved deeper into software development, I noticed that even these apps lacked certain features, were occasionally broken, or were too complicated for non-tech-savvy users.

My goal was to create apps that are easy to use, reliable, transparent, and affordable. Most Shopify businesses are small enterprises or solo entrepreneurs striving to grow their businesses without breaking the bank. I wanted to provide tools that help these businesses thrive without adding unnecessary financial burden. I hope you enjoy using our apps as much as I have enjoyed building them.

One of the things that motivates me the most is finding solutions to a business's specific needs rather than searching for a one-size-fits-all app. I've built many custom apps tailored to individual business requirements, often not releasing them on the app store. I love collaborating with businesses to solve their unique problems, and I hope to assist you with your business needs.

One of the first apps I created was ezInvoices. It was born out of frustration with Shopify's lack of official invoices for orders. Customers, especially accounting departments, often requested more official documentation with business numbers, tax identification numbers, and GST/HST numbers (for Canada).

Before ezInvoices, the only solution was to manually enter order details into accounting software and generate an invoice. This process was tedious and inefficient. I needed an on-demand solution that could produce an invoice quickly and directly from the order page. Thus, ezInvoices was born, providing a simple yet effective way to generate invoices directly within Shopify.

I firmly believe that business operations should be centralized in one place. While there are many excellent niche tools available, managing multiple tabs and visiting various websites can be cumbersome. For instance, you might have Gmail, live chat, customer relationship management software, Canva, Google or Facebook ads, accounting software, inventory management software, shipping software, order management software, analytics software, and social media software open simultaneously. This fragmentation can hinder productivity.

The objective behind ezApps is to create applications that enable you to stay within the Shopify ecosystem and accomplish as much as possible efficiently. By staying inside Shopify, you have a single source of truth, making it easier to track and manage your operations and streamline productivity.
