Sagify for Sage Accounting Help

Plans, usage and billing

What each plan includes, how documents are counted, what happens at your allowance and how to change plans inside Shopify.

Sagify is billed through Shopify, on your Shopify invoice. The Plan page shows your plan, what you have used this cycle and a comparison of the four plans.

How documents are counted

A document is one invoice or one credit note posted to Sage. Each counts once, when it is created. The counter resets at the start of each billing cycle — the Resets date on the Plan page.

  • On Free, the allowance is a hard cap: when it is used up, further orders wait until the next cycle (or until you upgrade). Nothing is lost; they post when there is room.
  • On a paid plan, documents beyond the allowance are billed at the plan's per-document rate on your next Shopify invoice. A usage line on the Plan page shows how many.

The Plan page warns you when you are approaching the allowance, and the Orders page shows a banner once you reach it.

Change plan

Click Change plan. Shopify's plan page lets you pick any plan and handles the charge on your Shopify invoice. Downgrading keeps everything you have set up — only the features of the lower plan switch off (Automatic sync, product sync, inventory or payouts, depending on where you land), and anything that would have synced automatically waits on the Orders page for you to process by hand.

You can cancel at any time from Shopify. Uninstalling the app removes its access to your store and the stored Sage connection; your Sage records stay exactly as they are.
